Gibraltar and the Small Jewish Communities around the world
Lecture by: Ayelet Mamo Shay

The Jewish Community of Gibraltar has given Ayelet the inspiration for her PhD research at the Open University. This lecture draws on her research topic "Are small Jewish communities sustainable in an era of globalisation?" and will take you on a journey across the world, comparing the Gibraltar Jewish community to other small Jewish communities in an attempt to understand the secrets of its success as well as examine the challenges faced by other communities and discover how they have evolved.
