Neil has been waking up radio listeners all of his adult life. A self confessed cheery early morning person, Neil is the host of our flagship programme - Good Morning Gibraltar. Neil’s experience in radio stretches across the BBC and commercial stations. A trained journalist, Neil writes for a number of newspapers and is also a TV presenter for a UK travel channel.
What’s your favourite place in Gibraltar and why?
It’s got to be Ocean Village. I love being by the water, but staying dry! OV is a great place for people watching, it also has a fantastic range of places to eat and drink too, which is always a winner.
Tell us something about Gibraltar that not everyone knows?
The airport used to be a horse racing track. True story? Place your bets now.
And something about you that not everyone knows?
I once lived in a shop window for 11 days, presenting a radio show.
What’s your favourite thing to do on the Rock?
I like nothing better than to watch the planes taking off and landing. I’m a bit of an aviation geek, the best views are from the flag polls, halfway up the Rock.
If you weren’t presenting on Rock Radio, what would you be doing?
Listening to it!
Tune into Neil every weekday morning from 8am to 12pm for Good Morning Gibraltar and Sundays from 8pm to 12am for Love On The Rock.
